I coach pastors, leaders & creatives so they get where God is calling them.
After nearly a decade in pastoral and executive ministry leadership, I made a rare transition — from the pulpit to the strategic and creative side of church communication. That background is not a credential. It is the lens I funnel every coaching relationship through. I has been in the staff meetings, carried the weight of vision communication, and felt the specific frustration of knowing what a church is called to be while watching the gap between that calling and how the community experiences it grow wider.
Today, I coach pastors, leaders, and creatives to get clear on where God is calling them — and I lead a team in building the visual and creative expression of that clarity.
Creative Arts Department is a strategic creative agency for churches. We exist to close the gap between what a church is truly called to be and how the community experiences it — it's your vision, made visual.
Founded by Trenton Laffoon — a former executive pastor and creative director — CAD was built on one conviction: most churches are doing more than their brand communicates. That gap is not a design problem. It is a vision and clarity problem. And solving it requires both a trusted strategic voice and a team that can build the creative expression of what that clarity reveals.
